This was an easy course but the structure was changed. The TA's are difficult to understand because their main language was German and makes one question their ability to mark 3rd level academic papers when conversational English was simply okay. The final is graded at a different expectation level than the rest of the course and students are not informed about this. The guest lectures are generally dull and tutorials useless, student attendance is extremely poor.Word restrictions on many assignments are ridiculous. The course itself is easy, but I would not say this is a bird course anymore because you do have to work for those marks.

HIGHLY recommended. One of the easiest courses I've even taken, and it's actually very interesting. No midterm, and a take home final! Throughout the semester you have to write 3 mini-essays, only 500 words each (no bibliography), and then one final essay at the end of the semester.
