The course explores decisions faced by managers of firms. In particular, decision-makers must determine which long-term real investment opportunities to exploit. Once undertaken, managers must decide how to finance the projects, for example, by debt or equity. The course develops both the conceptual framework and the tools required for these decisions.
Redekop's exams are pretty fair if you can actually open his course notes in his proprietary format.

| econgirl15 - 2013-08-23 16:25:35 Pirapa makes his midterms extremely difficult to scare the students into studying harder for the final. It works. Assignments are easy, and the final is fairly easier than the midterm exam. Don't get scared from the midterm- every term always has a low average. |
