The course deals with inequality relating to class, status, and power.
Prof Goyder gets a bit off topic, but the essay and presentation are optional in his class, and there is no midterm. The final exam consists of 4 essay style questions, and the questions are given before the exam. The text is about 250 pages and novel-sized. Prof offers podcasts through uwace, so in-class attendance is not necessary.
